Monster...Creativity?

K-Weezy (aka Kanye West) released snaps from the set of his video for the heavy-weight "Monster" track featuring Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, and Rick Ross.

I'm all for creativity but, this kind of looks...well, serial killer-ish.

Kandi - Haven't Luvd Right ( Official Video )

Kandi Burress (of RHWOA fame) released the video for her single "Haven't Luvd Right" this week in preparation for her upcoming album Kandi Koated, in stores December 14th. 

I'm Not a huge fan of Kandi the singer but, her ability to write and produce is supurb.  The ballad, produced by Chuck Harmony (he also produced Rihanna's dramatic piece, "Russian Roulette"), and the accompanying video are an ode to Kandi's late fiance, A.J., who passed away last year. 

I wasn't prepared for the tear jerker effect so, have your tissues handy.

"Hello" J. Rhodes, 80's Baby Short

J. Rhodes and the 80's Baby camp released the video to Rhodes' single "Hello" yesterday and the response has been enthusiastic to say the least.  The Shai track was unexpected and incredibly well sampled.  Take a look at the video for "Hello" below.

*New Freestyle* GhostWridah - "RunAway".

The homie GhostWridah released a new freestyle this week entitled "RunAway" via his WridahBlast email list.  A freestyle from G over the classic Cube "Today Was A Good Day" instrumental is sure to make you listen and appreciate.  Lyrical ability is always evident in GhostWridah's work and freestyles are apparently not exempt.

Dear Marilyn...

Recently peeped a piece on www.necolebitchie.com on Nicki Minaj and truthfully, I paid more attention to the sweater she rocked than to the words on the screen.  As a lover of old movie starlets, I had to know who made the awesome-ness that is this sweater.  I had to search no further than the brilliant
